This Branford, CT home had a wet basement that was causing frustration to the homeowner. Every time she would walk down to her basement, she would be greeted with a wet environment and be worried that the items stored would be destroyed. Wanting a dry basement and after hearing great referrals, she decided to contact the experts a CT Basement Systems.
On the day of the appointment, Sales Representative Bret Citrin arrived at the home to assess the basement. He noticed that there was ground water seeping into the basement and that was the cause of the wet basement. He explained this to the homeowner and reassured that there was a solution, our WaterGuard System paired with a TripleSafe sump pump. This system is installed internally around the perimeter of the basement and it will collect water before it enters the area. Then, the collected water is channeled to the TripleSafe sump pump where it is discharged away from the home. This is exactly what the homeowner needed and decided to move forward with the project.
On the day of production, Foreman Krzys Wilk and his team installed the WaterGuard system and the TripleSafe sump system efficiently and professionally. The project took only one day to complete and the finished result left the homeowner with a basement dry. She was happy that she trusted the experts at CT Basement Systems.
This Branford basement wall had a severe crack which would cause water to seep through. The homeowner wanted to take control of this problem and find a solution. She decided to call the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems and scheduled an appointment to receive a free estimate.
On the day of the appointment, our Sales Representative, Mick Foster arrived at the home. Upon inspection, he suggested that the best solution would be our FlexiSpan products. After explaining the benefits to the homeowner, she agreed and scheduled a production day to have this product installed.
On the day of installation, Justin Vizard began the process. FlexiSpan is actually a three-step process. First, flexible sealant is placed along the full length of the crack. Next, a strip of flexible and porous foam is installed over the crack. Lastly, a waterproofed coating is attached to the wall on both sides of the foam strip. This system allows any seepage of water that may happen to move down the wall discreetly and go into the basement’s drainage system. This system was the perfect choice for this homeowner because it will stop the water leakage and it will not reopen like mortar-based repairs.
With the crack repaired, the homeowner is now at ease and is grateful for the work that has been done by Connecticut Basement Systems.
